How goes Elite Monster Farming?

I am currently at 247...can't decide if I should like...Grind at a map my level, hunt runes, or just take out elites for newbies...How are all of you people doing with Elites...

    try find dark runes= 3 elites
    atm only hav 50 but still lvl160

    I'm not even trying. If I spawn one, I go for it. If there's a Rune of Darkness, I go for it, but I'm not actively hunting for them. So far though, I have 87.
