Can't make it past channel selection

So I've deleted and reinstalled maplestory a few times since after the patch. I can make it to the channel selection page
for a world, but then when I try picking a channel, it says that it is connecting to server, then the game closes.
Anyone have any tips to fix this? Even a new a brand new computer I just got and downloaded maple, this exact thing
happened. Is this happening to anyone else?

    your not alone. I haven't been able to play since Nov 12. I have been doing everything. and still nothing.

    Reinstalled the game a few days ago and tried to log in today, had the same problem at first but now it just keeps saying ''having trouble logging in..'' message blah blah :(
