No Sound Effects

After today's patch (December 21st 2016) I have noticed the skill sounds are no longer working. After some testing and playing around with my settings I have boiled it down to being a game issue not an issue with the computer. (I don't wanna sound like I'm attacking you so please don't take it that way.) I went through a few steps to reach this conclusion.
First and Foremost the music or the Background music in game works fine I can hear that clearly.
I checked both the skills and SFX volumes and they were cranked to max.
The only thing i can really think the issue is here is the game itself unless someone can tell me a different explanation?
It is just really weird to play the game without sound and would be nice to have it back asap.

    My Sounds work prefectly, have you considerd a Full Reinstall of MapleStory ?

    Meybe some of your'e sound files got Corrupted ?

    It worked. Thank you for your suggestion. I wanted to avoid a full reinstall but that seems to be the only way it worked xD.

    For future reference, if you're using the Nexon Launcher, you can use this as opposed to a full reinstall
