Rant ON "bringing the chinese new yr shop back"

So... let me understand this, nexon is notorious for ending events / coin shops etc. on the day of or the day before, I'd guess, probably every one who has played this game over 6 months would painfully know this or "learn" it..
Yet here we go for some reason this shop is being brought back, I'm guessing the right people screamed the loudest or something along those lines. I had always been told "suck it up, you had X amount of time to spend coins so deal with it" and let me tell you I've had tons of coins I never got to spend from events. No don't even say its because of the down time , crap lag, etc.. that something that has always been.
It would be nice if nexon cared as much about pleasing everyone else as they do these select few!
How about you fix bowmasters arrow platter , its only been broke for months now ? Sometimes half of a bowmasters damage is missing because you can't use arrow platter, it wont set, it wont work etc.. why can't you do something like this ?
Maybe we could have those people complain about this for we common folk ? because its for damn sure our voice is never heard! And I don't wanna hear "oh its the same in KMS" news flash this is NOT KMS! If GMS can't do anything w/o holding KMS's hand then why are we even known as GMS .. hell lets just all be KMS and do away with GMS... (ITS A RANT) ....

    was what the event list showed when the coin shop disappeared.

    This was taken shortly after the server's daily reset on Tuesday and as you can see there was a full day left of it.

    Same is true for a lot of events and shops. Even the events going on now have different end times on the in-game calendar and on the web notice. For example, the random beauty coupon event. I can already see players ranting, "I got stuck with green skin because the event calendar said I have a whole day left to change it."

    It is puzzling why Nexon chose to extend this shop, of all botched events.
    And if it's still in Lag Hall it sounds even more like a case of "the right person complained" rather than "there was a public outcry" - because the outcry about the shop's location was much louder and more sustained, and yet completely ignored.

    It feels like a major cop-out that Nexon extended the shop. I, like many people I know, have been shafted by the shops going out but was always told that is just how it is and now they are giving in to a few people. Of course instead of fixing actual issues like Bowmaster arrow platter, which is broken on my bowmaster too, we get more shop and AND changing the NPC Donald because What? We can't be happy our president has the same name? or did someone throw a fit because the democrats lost? Either way, get your act together Nexon or just keep hemorrhaging players.

    There's Phantom's stolen Final Cut, multiple attempts to changing channels once, several quests/events causes lag when the counter is being updated, how majority of ancient hacks aren't permanently patched, and the whole load of extensive bug report lists.

    Another is the suggestions such as repeatable Ghost Ship Exorcist Badge, free-to-play accessibility for Bonus Potential, in-game accessibility for higher rank Nebulites instead of Gachapon/Marvel with Fusion tickets, replacing the endless botting market of Clean Slates, Spell Traces, Epic Potential Scrolls, Chaos Scroll of Goodness, revamping party quests or parties in general, reintroducing party-play areas, making the game both solo and group friendly, etc.

    Yeah it's disappointing, I'll give you that. They decided to nerf Choco Onslaught, bring back the New Years Coin Shop where some players may have already tossed out their coins and how it ended a day early than displayed. These types of ninja-fixes shouldn't be happening on a daily basis.

    The Choco Onslaught nerf wouldn't have happened if they tested the full capabilities of the event itself instead of deciding to throw in random numbers.

    The New Years Coin Shop fiasco should have never happened if they linked the same dates into both the Event List and the actual NPC functionality when to appear/disappear. One programming mistake is using magic numbers.

    I wouldn't be surprised if the V hyped has already been shattered to pieces and a majority of new/returning players quit again because of Nexon's incompetence and an add-on of current-active players quitting. An unplayable buggy game for 2 months isn't the fault of the game itself but those who maintain it. It made the community toxic because they will be only so much to salvage from the nostalgia, a divide between players.

    This is why we can't have nice things, I'd say it's on a thin string.

    I saw it..then after a min later it disappears..lol wt heck.. But at least, they put it back now. IDK how they count the event date lol..actually these had been happened many times before... the event were ended prematurely.
