    Maple Points:
    - Don't expire
    - Can be used to buy almost anything in the Cash Shop
    - Cannot be combined with other forms of NX
    - Will soon (starting next week) be obtainable by trading for meso, but the exchange rate is unknown at this time
    - No cap on how much you can have

    Reward Points:
    - Expire at the end of the month after you get them (so points you get this week will expire at the end of June)
    - Can only be used to buy items in the Rewards Shop
    - Can be used as a discount on purchases with NX
    - Can be obtained by bossing or from monster collection
    - Have a monthly cap (if you obtain more it goes to waste)

    Which sounds better to you?

    you the player can set the rate or choose for an auto set rate based on popular set rates. This is how it works in KMS at least.

    Yes, but if I set a rate nobody else is willing to exchange for, the deal won't happen.
    The rate will be set by "market forces", "supply and demand", and we don't know yet where it will end up.
