Didn't really see a thread about this anywhere but is there a chance that chaos horntail damage ignore can be removed. It adds nothing to terms of gameplay except wasting time.

I believe this one was already suggested and forwarded a few weeks ago.
The damage reflect does make this boss pretty tough at low range.

Well damage reflect I understand but damage ignore is what I feel like is a waste of time.

They both serve the same purpose of wasting time, except 1 more punishing than the other
And "at low range" isn't too relevant anyway
If you were "low range" and going into the boss knowing you could clear it (within 2 and a half hours), damage reflect/cancel will only really affect how fast you clear, not your ability to do so
I haven't yet seen a boss with damage cancel/reflect significant enough to bar people from clearing, which is probably why it hasn't been appearing in endgame bosses
    Regardless, both should be removed

Damage ignore is an outdated mechanic. It served a purpose years ago, back when you needed to team up with other players in an expedition to kill the hardest bosses. Back then you would have a mixture of Mages and physical classes fighting simultaneously, so damage ignore actually did impact the strategy.

Now, however, it is useless against a boss like Horntail that is meant to be solo'd as a daily. It just adds periods during the battle where you have to wait for it to run out, with no chance of you dying in the meantime.
