✓ Mr. Lee's Airlines: Sent to Spinel's Forest
Bug type: Functionality
Brief bug summary: When doing Mr. Lee's Airlines and traversing through the random portals, eventually you will get kicked out and sent to Spinel's Forest, where you can't attempt Mr. Lee's again until the next day.
More details:
Entering portals while doing Mr. Lee's will send you to a random map, and you have to keep going through these maps to find certain locations and monsters for quests. The problem is, one of these portals will randomly send you to a black map for a few seconds, and then expel you to Spinel's Forest, where you can't go back to Mr. Lee's Airlines, since it's only once a day.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Accept the quest "[Mr. Lee Airlines] Regular Service]"
2. Travel to the deserted island
3. Go through the random portals. Eventually it will kick you out and send you there.
Character name: GreenGales
Character level: 233
Character job: Wind Archer
World name: Bera
Date and time of the incident:
August 27, 28, and 29, around the time of reset.
Comments
They fixed it to send you to the landing site, at one point.
I guess that fix came undone with some recent patch.
If it's like before, then it only affects some characters.
The reason for being sent to Spinel's Forest is trying to go back through the portal you came into a map on. Presumably, the variable used to save the "previous map" gets corrupted. To avoid getting kicked, always go in the same direction, and never enter hatches. (That still has a 50:50 chance of kicking you out from the very first map you enter after landing, unfortunately).
Lucky me then, because today, the following happened to me:
1. Went to the initial map.
2. Entered the middle portal and went to the plant map.
3. Entered the right portal, and it sent me to Spinel's Forest.
I'm doing my best to avoid the hatches now though, but it's really irritating me.
