I think it would be best if the meso market generates the mesos/maple points and serve it instead of players

This way we don't have to wait and hope for a seller/buyer

It will be a guarantee sell/buy because the meso market system will always have mesos/maple points for service

The ratio will be at a fixed rate of 200 maple points : 100 million mesos

I always did this rate and it seems fair

Also the 5 limit transaction should only be counted for successful transactions, right now it counts as a loss if you cancel an incomplete one

I don't think you understand the principle of the meso market.

The Meso Market allows some players to buy cash items (like cubes, scrolls, pets, etc) without spending real-world money - but only because someone else spent the real-world money. Someone bought NX, used that to buy Maple Points, and put them on the market. No black cube leaves the Cash Shop without someone, somewhere, giving Nexon real-world US$2.2 (except for the carefully restricted Reward Point cubes and occasional in-game Maple Points given for Hot Days and such).

If Nexon just generated Maple Points in return for meso, that drop for free in the game, they'd lose a lot of income.

For mesos->NX it would work, but NX-> mesos it won't work because it will generate even more mesos on an overfloaded market.

I didn't think about that... somehow missed it, forget about this lol

It should work like it does in guild wars. The conversion has 2 base exchange rates, one for converting gold into gems and another, much less favourable, for converting gems into gold. Players exchange their currency with the system and immediately get their return while their money goes into a pot. Both exchange rates fluctuate based on the ratio of the currencies in the pot. There is also a 15% tax on the exchange so that it is extremely difficult to invest in it as if it were stocks in a company.

Over time the exchange rate of gold to gems (mesos to nx) gets worse, this is unavoidable as mesos are generated much faster than nx is, however it is an excellent way to keep inflation under control. Conversely this means the exchange rate of nx to mesos gets better over time.

This current system is so unnecessarily complicated. It should be as easy as typing in how much you want to exchange and hitting the button. By making the system easy to use it will encourage players to buy nx for the purpose of exchanging it for mesos.
