Effects shows to others?

If I turn off effects for totems for example, is it still visible to others?

I turn the effect off my cape but I can see it when I go in cash shop

    The effects of the totems are not visible to others, if you turn them off.

    what about my cape? i don't see it but it can be seen in cash shop

    That's a problem with the cash shop preview. In-game, other players can't see your cape's effect, either.

    That's a problem with the cash shop preview. In-game, other players can't see your cape's effect, either.

    ok awesome, as long as others can't see it
