    It's a bug that's already been reported.

    For the time being, you can avoid it by taking off your auto-HP/MP potions. You don't need them anyway, because nearly all of CPap's attacks are 1hko.

    Not just Chaos Pap this happens in. It happens in all difficulties for it.

    Upon death on Papulatus (atleast Chaos mode) some buffs, main attack, and equiping other items is disabled for about 1-2 min or so.

    This issue has been reported (for other classes as well).
    A workaround for this, until Nexon fixes it, is to not use auto-HP on your pet.
