Game crashing with Blue Snowball mic connected

Hi, so I recently started using my Blue Snowball microphone and ever since my client crashes after character selection. I have tested running the game without the mic connected and with it connected, and when the mic is connected I freeze once loaded into the game and then the game becomes unresponsive. I was wondering if there was a way to work around this crash so I don't have to play on my laptop instead of my PC.

    OMG this would the dumb reason of why my game keeps crashing after character selection...

    Also this is so specific that it's a very weird and isolated issue.
