Black Screen/Freezing

It's been awhile since I've played, but after selecting a character the screen freezes and sometimes goes completely black or freezes on intros for new characters.

I've tried running as admin/windows 7 mode. Running in window mode with Alt+Enter etc. I have it installed through steam so i verified the files already. Only thing I haven't done is a complete reinstall which I don't think would work anyways.

I reinstalled still not working... I let it sit on the black screen and it says "unable to connect to game server please try again later". But servers are up.

    Been a day and no replies from mods? Do they even monitor this forum anymore?

    Update: I actually got into the game today, but it immediately froze after someone was killing mobs in the area.

    wow the game is freezing and i get black screen too i sure hope Nexon brings the game down and fixes it so we can all play again soon. Thank you ahead of time for looking into this issue
