Bow Master 3rd Job - Why am I a Fire Mage?
So...yeah. The core abilities of Bow Master 3rd job seem out of place. The screen is on fire and I have a conjured Phoenix following me around.
2nd Job fits - explosive tipped arrows and an enchanted quiver with a few useful effects.
4th job fits - you get three new arrow-based abilities.
3rd job - I showed my friend who has never touched Maplestory my 3rd job bowmaster on mobile l and asked him what class I was playing. He watched my character auto fight for 10 seconds and said "fire mage".
Do you see what I mean?
I feel like this should be different. Like...move the 4th job abilities down to 3rd job and come up with something a little flashier for 4th job that doesn't seek like it belongs to another class. Tbh when I hit 4th job on reboot I was underwhelmed with the active abilities. Whereas you look at Cannoneer or F/P Archmage, they get some flashy, exciting abilities for 4th job.
Granted this isn't what you end up using at endgame but it just feels out of place for the few hours I spent in 3rd job.

If you want flashy 4th job arrow class, try Wind Archer from Cygnus archetype
okay, but why does Ranger suddenly have fire skills (despite not having a fire elemental but DoT), and Sniper have Ice/Lightning with their Explosive Bolt Skill and Frostprey summon?
I've wondered the point of for some reason giving these archer classes a fake elemental 3rd job skill rather than keeping the hawk/eagle summon they had prior tho having Phoenix and Frostpray moved down from their original 4th job classes, plus using a fire/lightning arrow skill rather than something "normal."
Actually a lot of the Explorer classes make me think of Diablo 2... >_>
you wouldn't be wrong to assume devs get ideas from other games. If they fit the time frame.
