Train doesn't take off even though it says it does every 3 minutes.
It has been years since I don't play and I wanted to see my characters and explore a bit but ends up that my main character was on New Leaf City (I used to be around Haunted House most of the time) and I wanted to leave but the train gets stuck on the waiting area, I tried waiting for 20 minutes but it doesn't send me to the traveling train.

Meanwhile, you can leave New Leaf City by using the Dimensional Mirror or the Maple Guide.
The Dimensional Mirror is accessible by clicking the ">>> Quick Move" button under your mini-map. In the Dimensional Mirror, select "Mushroom Shrine", and once there, click on the green crystal in the middle of the map to go to Henesys.
The Maple Guide should be on your screen when you log in. If it is not, look for it in your keyboard settings. By default it is on the 'U' key. Open it up and it will give you a selection of areas that are appropriate to your level. If you click on one and then on "Move", it will teleport you there immediately.
