A simple question on exp coupons
Why are normal servers being punished with slower exp rates, but reboot gets to continue leveling at the same rates they always have been?
I'm not asking for reboot to be changed either, just enable the exp coupons.

On a regular server, you could theoretically get a 22 starred, perfect scrolled legendary weapon on your very first day, if you're willing to spend the money. A long time ago that would grant you access to just about every bit of the games content. But now, even if you completely decked out your character in a single day on a regular server and had 20m+ range, you still won't be able to do end-game content for a very very long time because of things like arcane force, which requires about a year of doing dailies to reach max level (you probably dont need max level for most things though). And that would need to be repeated on every single character you wanted to play end-game content on... you have 40 characters? That would be somewhere around 40 years of grinding dailies if done consecutively, granted you could do a few simultaneously... but it would still take you more than 10 years. And that's JUST to get arcane force on 40 characters.
There are a lot of other ways the game is time gated besides dailies, you have meso rates, exp rates, gear progression, zone dailies, drop rates for items important to progression (such as certain pieces of gear, droplets, symbols and nodestones), daily coin limits, monster difficulty, boss mechanics, boss attempt limits, etc etc. These are all things which nexon uses to control the speed at which a player can grow, make meso or accomplish certain tasks.
Yes, some of the time-gates are ridiculous and make the game boring, repetitive or even nauseating at times. EXP rates is a good example. Farming the same map on autopilot for hours on end every day for months on end to reach level 250 for example.... but time gates do have their place, and sometimes they are important, but make no mistake, they are not there because they make the game better, they are there because that's how they moderate the in-game economy, control progression, and its how they keep you playing daily, which ultimately keeps players spending money.
After all, this is a for-profit business. Nexon needs to keep the light on, and they can only do that if they keep players playing. That's not an insult to Nexon, honestly its more of a compliment. They ride the razors edge between '240 droplets??? Screw that.' and 'only 10 more weeks of farming three hours a day and Ill have that arcane weapon!', and they ride it extremely well.
