A suggestion about Player Ranking
I found there's a player ranking list in Maplestory main site and I think it's a very useful and funny system to help us know all the information of characters and jobs. But I also find an issue about this ranking related to the Adventure.
If we know an ign of a player, then we can find the exact job of him in the ranking, only if he is not an Adventure.
For example, we can distinguish a demon slayer from a demon avenger according to the ranking when we only have his ign, although they are both the Resistance.
But we cannot confirm whether he is a night lord or shadower if the job in the ranking shows he is a thief of Adventure.
I think it's not reasonable for the Adventures do not having the accurate job classification in this ranking list while Cygnus Knights/Resistance/Hero do and I think we can have a better view or understanding of the jobs of Adventures, and of course the game.
So what do you think of this suggestion?
Is the ranking already very perfect or my suggestion should be take in consideration to make the ranking better?
Attached a poll about this suggestion.

So this person who is an NL today might have been a Shadower yesterday and could be a Dual Blade tomorrow.
I know people who train as I/L Mage, but switch to Bishop once a week for bossing. Would it be fair to put them high on the Bishop rankings, if they don't train as Bishops? Does it make sense for the I/L and Bishop rankings to always be moving up and down just because these people switch back and forth?
I see your point about open advancement but then again that is a feature offered freely in the game, and rankings should reflect changes within the game as well. At the very least put a parenthesis next to the explorer characters that details their job.
For reference, the KMS ranking allows people to sort by any class and advancement-tier, which I'd find fun and useful for niche perma-jobs.
Edit: Perhaps something like the old "Immigrant" tag can be applied to those who changed from their original job.
Thanks for reply.
The content that you said reminds me of the probable reason why the Adventure is different from others. I must say the example about the mages is somehow reasonable. But if we divide I/L mage and bishop, it can show the advantages and disadvantages of these classes. And what's more, the job change is still the rare situation, most players do not change their jobs frequently, so that should not be considered as a key factor.
And what if we just want to check out the popularity of all the jobs in this game instead of caring about the rankings? The original reason why I want this promotion of rankings is that I just want to check out the job popularity over Lv 251.
But it's difficult to have a clear check of Adventures except for dual blades (dual blades are marked out). That is why I raised this suggestion. Because it's a really big workload to check popularity by checking Mu Lung rankings or check all the ign in game one by one.
I think we can get more discussion and better understanding of this game if we can get a full view or job popularity, and we may get better ideas of job balance.
we had "good" ranking untill people started a both tab thing they " could not avoid clicking "
and now ranking its useless
btw idea its good
if someone decide to job change to get a small star-symbol next to his job
that will mean person is going to be last place on ranking lvl (if get first to 275 with star somone thats without star in that job can get first place)
or that marking can be done after person lvl with new changed job
