Launcher unable to initialize game

It just won't start. Any suggestions?

    A. You don't have sufficient requirements to launch the game, such as not the correct VC++ installed or run as admin compatibility is needed or a faulty installation or B. You're trying to start the game during maintenance and the button isn't greyed out for you in the launcher.

    The game initiated perfectly before the patch so I'm really not sure what else it could be. I tried to delete the entirety of registry keys and reinstall but that doesn't seem to have done anything either. Really would like to take advantage of this Tera Burning event ....
