the "Change Location" button is on the top left under Change Pic and Reset Pic (see image)
That is what you have to use to 'change the location' of a character on the selection screen
You should be able to see the quest in the quest UI under 'Available Quests'.
(Open the quest menu and click on the Available Quests tab, then scroll down)
