This happened to me multiple times - eventually you randomly can make it through to the next cutscene and progress. Had to restart roughly 15 times to get through the whole maplemas storyline.
Same experience for me and all those on my guild/friends list. 400 clovers farmed 12/1 and can now use a clover pouch because I'm unfortunately back to 0 after server reset.
