Just letting you know that I contacted live support yesterday regarding the issue and they said they know about it. Expect something to be done the next (most likely unscheduled) maintenance.

Y'all act like asking for compensation is such a horrible thing.
They screwed up. That's perfectly fine. It doesn't hurt anyone and takes them almost no time to just make the x2 today/tomorrow all day instead of for a couple hours.
I (as well as many others) probably would not mind this long maintenance at all if the x2 was just made to be for the entirety of today and tomorrow, instead of those wonky hours that plenty of players can't enjoy due to work/school.
