It's been happening to me as well. Just now, I opened maplestory and alt tabbed out to check something, and two minutes later it said "maplestory.exe has stopped working" or something along those lines.
I'm still able to make a new character burn. By reset, do u mean that current burning characters are no longer burning but new ones can be made that can be burned?
