They should look into finding more uses for the "sharing tag" since that allows certain items to be moved from character to character via storage, ie Elven Glasses (or something along those lines, from Mercedes initial release)

If you really badly want the normal damage skin you can participate in Cross World PQ (instead of Tower of Oz), and spend your PQ Points on the normal damage skin. I forget how much it costs though :x
Worked for me the other day.
Have the quest "Noi more Tourists" Accepted and then try to use the Crane one map to the right of Mu Lung. (Quest should be accessible from the lightbulb on the side)
