  • Kinesis - allow toggle on/off for monster grabbing

I have but one simple suggestion for kinesis, which is to allow a toggle function to toggle on/off monster grabbing for physic grab/smash.

The issue I have with forced monster grabbing is that unless you can 1 shot mobs with grab, it goes against kinesis's dps style of 'dropping things on the map which deal damage over time', because the monsters that you grab become invulnerable to any damage except for smash/shot/shockwave.

A good example is the current Rise event 'Battlefield of Honor', where you can't apply constant damage to all the enemies with trainwreck, mind over matter etc, because the moment you press your main attack you take 5 enemies 'off the map' which kills your dps since they're no longer affected by your other skills unless you let them go with shot or shockwave...which sends them far away from your stationary train or matter.

Another somewhat minor problem with grabbing is that grabbed enemies still count as being alive if they have hp and therefore limits the spawn amount on the map if you've grabbed something but haven't spent the time to release/kill it before the spawn timer ticks.

Furthermore, grabbing enemies creates a server-side check which therefore adds delay onto the main attack for people who don't have perfect ping.

I think a simple yet effective solution to all of this is to simply allow grabbing to be toggled off. I know a lot of other classes have toggles for passive effects which is why I feel comfortable suggesting this, since it wouldn't be anything new or groundbreaking.
