I'm very sad and sorry to say that Hayato isn't fun anymore. It was my favorite class, but now it is unplayable. At least, that is how I personally feel with the way I play it. It felt so smooth & agile & fluid before, but now it is so stiff, clunky, and static. It's kind of amazing how a class can lose all of its flow & movability all because of one tiny adjustment to a skill. Putting a cooldown on Shinsoku really bit Hayato in the butt. I can only pray that Maple Story developers will realize this too and restore Shinsoku back to its appreciated original state when it had no cooldown.
Maple Story is not a PvP game, right? So I don't understand why there is any reason or necessity to nerf classes & bring them down versus raising them all up to make them better & more enjoyable. Even in games where there is indeed PvP... ruining beloved classes for the PvEers doesn't make sense to me when then the worlds could just be separated instead so that the nerf only affects PvP (for competition fairness) and not PvE (so they can continue to have fun with what makes their classes so exciting; unscathed; uncensored).
While I'm here, pleading to take away Shinsoku's unnecessarily hurtful cooldown... I may as well offer another suggestion that would enhance Hayato's previously silky playstyle. I'd love if I could move across the screen while using Rai Blade Flash/Rai Sanrenzan. I really dislike skills that lock me in place. I need to be able to travel across the board with my skill, constantly on the move. Which is why I barely use Blade Flash/Sanrenzan & would always use Shinsoku. But this way, I could have 2 enjoyable skills to switch between ♡
I reeeeeally really hope you agree with this, because it just gives me such a warm feeling, imagining getting to play Hayato that way again ◡‿◡
