Extremely disappointing. I want to highlight the problems in the last 2 weeks::
1. Limited cube sale in Reboot, despite cubes costing meso and in a server where people preplan for this months in advance.
2. First DMT disaster and the poor response. Ran the cube sale 30 minutes before the 1st DMT hour so no one could buy cubes or even enter the cash shop. During the actual DMT no one could cube.
3. No meaningful communication until the memo out of nowhere. No "please hold your cubes as we discuss this issue". Takes a full week to hear anything that's not just stalling.
4. No actual compensation, no acknowledgement that people make plans around this specific day and wake up at 1AM-4AM for a 1 hour window only to get nothing. Rerunning the event again that we were supposed to get but didn't is not "compensation", and it took a week to communicate this?
5. Second DMT disaster with no real change from last week.
There's no indication that Nexon cares at all about Reboot. I would say the memo talking about Burning World for non-Reboot is a bit tone deaf in a memo titled "Maple Memo: July Double Miracle Time – July 10" that was meant to address Reboot. The lack of actual meaningful compensation for people's time annoys me the most, and the "compensation" we ended up getting fell flat on its face. So not only is the 1st event not compensated for but now we need a compensation for the 2nd event?
How did a good will event for the community do the complete opposite and cause everyone to become angry and frustrated towards you?
This perfectly highlights the issue of this whole DMT fiasco for the past few weeks.
As somebody who is in EST I cannot even begin with how disappointing this event is when you still can't get cubes through.
I can't wait for nexon's next non-apology without any future compensation. But hey, I'm opened to being proved wrong
Just adding another post regarding DMT as we all know it was a huge disaster
During the first time slot from 4:00 AM EST when the cube sale went on, I was unable to enter the cash shop to even see the cubes on sale. I went into both the Enhance tab as well as the Rewards Point Shop and saw no cubes on sale. When I went into the Enhance tab again, the cash shop told me 'The Request Has Timed Out' then kicked me out. I tried entering again and then game completely crashed. After I crashed, I tried logging in multiple times from 4:30 AM EST-5:30 AM EST when the Double Miracle Time event was going on and it kept telling me 'This ID Is already logged in' even though I was not logged into the game. Effectively, even though I stayed up for this event at 4:30 AM EST, I was unable to both buy + use cubes as well as even get into the game.
Secondly, at the second timeslot of the Double Miracle Time. I luckily purchased the cubes from the sale after the first time slot. When I tried to use the cubes, like many others, the cubes were not working as well. I was unable to teleport to any other map nor was I able to change channels. After being able to change channels I was able to use one cube. This strategy proved to be ineffective later on and I was effectively unable to do anything other than see the spam messages of people who were able to cube their items. Many other people were not able to use any cubes during this event.
All that I ask for is proper addressing of this issue and hopefully to let us cube for a WHOLE DAY versus three 1-hour timeslots to cube when the Reboot servers cannot handle that. Players need to be compensated for their time, frustration, and their concerns continually being ignored.
