Startup crashes

Why does the game always crash once or twice while loading? I give ample time and let the movie play. I also don't have anything else going on the computer, and I leave the mouse alone while loading characters. This is when it crashes, at the character choice display while loading. Scania.

    the issue has something to do with whatever nexon recently changed with how it loads game data on start up, there is a video that explains how to get around this issue but it's not guaranteed to work
