I was working on my characters today giving them equips to increase charm. I went to look at my Legion and BOOM my Raid Power was down some points. I checked my characters to see if I forgot to put some equips back on but no. Then I checked all of my characters against my grid that I keep to show how many stars each of my mule have and the numbers were higher on some of my characters then I had recorded. So I went to look at those characters then BOOM it dropped again!!! I took characters off my legion and added them back and even restarted my computer. I have now lost over 1m raid power!!! Can someone explain what this is about?

Well when you're building up charm, you gotta re-equip everything back to regain back the legion raid power however the changes will take effect as you re-assign your characters to the grid and then confirm your changes. if you don't re-equip everything back the way it was before your legion raid power will plummet. Always assign your characters after each and every level and re-equipping your gear in order for the changes to take effect regardless if their puzzle pieces are in the same places or making changes or use one of the pre-sets you have.

I did that and it is still lower today than it was for the past week! Then I changed characters and it went from 432,800,000 to 434,500,000 and shows that a character that I have not added any stars to has gone from 21,500,000 to 22,700,000. I did add stars to some of my characters but not that one. I swear the system does not know where to put the points so it just randomly assigns them sometimes!!!

Raid power doesn't take into account the character you're currently on because you control that character during the raid.
Raid power is the amount of damage your inactive characters deal to the dragon every so often.

But I added stars and the value on one of my characters is still lower than it was before it suddenly lost value. If the raid power is based on level and stars on a character then it should not change like that.

It's not just the star force that builds up raid power, It's also the character's level as well. The only way to tell if your raid power has increased or decreased is to take a screenshot of your grid, empty it, and then re-assign everything it was from the screenshot you took. All I know is that the raid power can only increase based on the character's level and the amount of star force your characters has. If you're focusing on your character's gear and their star force, then probably that may explain it why because when you're building up charm, always re-equip everything back the way it was before. if it's tradeable gear, you don't wanna juggle them in-between characters as they contain star force otherwise that character who had originally equipped the gear will have their raid power lowered. My only question is what was your (original) legion raid power before this change? If you were grinding your characters, then the change will take effect as you change your grid.

It did finally seem to become stable after a few days. It is just that when i start messing with the equips on multiple characters the system starts glitching out.
