ARK- Nebulite/Flame compensation

Pre-ark my EMS wand was flamed and nebbed with (A) 20% boss damage, I got the neb compensated but the EMS flame remains. Same for everyone else?

Is this a bug?

    For all equipment that had Bonus Stats previously in EMS and now also have Nebulites, these items will be treated like items with Nebulites that cannot gain bonus stats on them: Removed and compensated with Rebirth Flames.
    It is intended that the existing bonus stat take priority over the nebulite to bonus stat conversion.

    So you're saying that it's not possible to re-roll EMS flame lines into new ones?

    You can re-roll flames.

    "Removed and compensated with Rebirth Flames." is referring only to the nebulite, not the pre-existing flame on the equip.
