Lab Hat Missing?

Alrighty, this is pretty weird, but I think I know what happened but not how to solve it.
I finally reached level 150 on lab and hit the accept quest in henesys, and when I did I realized that my equip inventory was already full.
But Cassandra never did the please empty your inventory prompt, so I guess the hat just... vanished. It wasn't in the cash shop or anything either.
The quest is already finished and I have the reward chair, but not the hat. Is this a fixable problem? I don't want anyone else to have their hat poof before checking and seeing no hat.

    And it's not a USE coupon either? I don't remember how it worked. Check your Battle chat tab to see what you actually got.

    Hm, well, I would do that but I logged out and then logged back in to see if that would change anything. There's nothing in the battle log at this point. I did check my use inventory though, and I didn't see anything there either.

    Oh wait did you kill Von Leon at level 10 or not? The 150 quest is just for the chair and legion piece. The hat is a separate quest.

    If you did and still didn't get the hat then use the bug report format so it's easier for them to figure it out: http://forums.maplestory.nexon.net/discussion/6845/maplestory-bug-reporting-guidelines#latest


    If you didn't defeat VL yet, don't accept the level 200 Survivalist quest until you do and then die again to avoid failing the 200 quest.

    Ah, that makes more sense. Thank you. I completely forgot that was a thing I was supposed to do. I guess there's no problem then!
