Perfect Size for Monster Life Avatar Picture

Hello. As I was trying to find a size for my Monster Life avatar picture, I realized that every picture I tried was heavily pixelated and got so distorted. I tried various sizes ranging from 100x100 to 1000x1000 but none of the pictures turned out to be clear. Can anyone tell me what is the perfect size of the picture to be clearly displayed in the Character Info window? Because I've seen some people with clear and neat avatar pictures but mines always looked crappy and blurry. My pictures are always in high quality as well. Thank you.

    100x100 shows it clearly inside monster life but blurry/distorted in the character info window. Not sure why the resolutions aren't the same.

    For a beautiful picture
    1.) Get a square shaped picture
    2.) Copy and paste it in a word document
    3.) Stretch it diagonally (stretching it in paint pixelate it too much)
    4.) Copy the stretched picture and save it in paint
    5.) Upload the stretched picture
    6.) If too blurry, go to 3 and stretch it bigger
    (my 500x500 picture needed to be 3600x3600 to be beautiful)
