Hello me and a few friends have been having an issue where when we change channels or kill certain bosses (norm/hard mag, vellum, cygnus) the in game interface vanishes for almost everything, item, buddy list, world map, even the options menu isn't showing up properly. The functions are still working fine and if you can find the buttons you need you can still access everything, but none of it is showing up on screen.

Just curious if this is a known issue or if it's just happening to a small number of players.

This is unfortunately a well-known phenomenon, known as "memory leak".
Severity comes and goes with various patches. Here's a thread from 2.5 years ago, and it was already old and known before that.

v210 seems to have made it much worse, especially for those who visit Phantom Forest, but not only for them. Nexon has been informed.

Keep an eye on Maple Story memory usage before doing any important bosses.
    1.3-1.5GB is normal usage.
    2GB is slightly leaking.
3GB is heavily bloating and some stuff may not display properly. Best to restart Maple Story at this point.
4GB is when Maple Story will crash due to it being a 32-bit program (4GB limit set by window)
