Crashing while switching characthers

hello I'm having a problem after the new update secret stories I like to switch characters alot but now ever time I log out of the game to switch charsacther I crash does anyone know a solution or a patch or something that came help me I have a bunch of characters but now it really aggravating to try and use them cause I crash and then I have to start the game all over again :( </3 PLS someone help me :o

    Unfortunately me and quite a few of my friends have this issue...no known fix :T

    Just started experiencing this problem yesterday.
    Really annoying since I often switch between five characters or more while playing to pass around items and such.
    Wouldn't even seem that bad if restarting the game didn't take so long (pretty sure cutting out that unnecessary video would help).

    an error type would help
    simple crash dont help us identify what went wrong
    what did the window say at the end?

    well that just it I will push quit game from the right lower corner not the alt+ f4 thingy so I can switch characters but after pressing the quit game button maple goes black and then [ I have a Windows 10 OS system] , windows says maplestory has stop working properly then it searches for solution for a second and the only option it gives me is close program i tried X ing out of it or pushing cancel maplestory still goes byebye is this a update issue or a window 10 issue either way if someone could help that would be wonderful cause it drives me bonkers

    Interesting same problem(at least I have my classes at each individual areas to train).

    Windows 10 as well.
    Bell Internet best package.
    So yea we might be getting a unscheduled maintenance

    is all your programs up to date?
    direct x and your c++ and net frameworks codecs come to mind
    try to update your computer
    then restart your comp
    also try repair in the game launcher
    if none of these works try launching in safe mode
    if in the end that fails too try reinstalling it [ i know this sucks why i put it last]
    i notice after game updates sometimes you need to reinstall

    Ok I've conform it.
    This is on Nexon end, so reinstalling save the time don't bother.

    True tho got no problem reinstalling software since i have fast internet, took me only 10mins to reinstall MapleStory.
