Check out the v.269 Ride the Lightning patch notes
here!
The bots have completely messed up interactive server’s balance, but there is still a way to save the game:
1. Set a daily mesos farming cap – this will limit the insane inflation caused by bots and multi-client accounts.
2. Increase the value of boss crystals – this compensates for the reduced income from the daily gold cap.
3. Make event cubes untradeable for 30 days after use – this would drastically reduce the impact gold-farming studios have on the interactive server.
I know you guys don’t currently have the ability to fully handle VMs and multi-account botting, but this approach works. KMS did the same thing, and the market feedback proves it was the right call.
It’s frustrating to watch MapleStory get ruined by gold-farming studios while simple, proven solutions are ignored. Please take action before the game’s economy collapses completely.
Note: this can only applies to interactive servers, Heroic servers can remain unchanged.

2 - this needs to happen as we can't even sf
3 - they are going to do this with gear in a patch coming up
1- Tbh i don’t think so, because even reaching the daily cap would still require at least 4–6 hours of farming (and I’m only talking about Interactive servers). Anyone consistently playing more than that every single day is probably not a normal player. Sure, some people might occasionally grind longer, but realistically, very few people are spending 6+ hours every day just farming mesos in this game.
Also, is total playtime really that important to them? Their financial reports don’t seem to suggest that player online hours are a major metric anyway.
I heard they already cut down their team size, so this probably isn’t even possible anymore. I remember a few years ago they even had GMs who would teleport players into a specific map and question them one-on-one lol.
If people are still suffering from this kind of unfairness, then might as well let everyone start botting—only then would it be “fair.”
5. Remove perfect innocence scroll to limit bot farm cubes on items with scissor counts so karma brights cannot be abused to easily
No.
You clearly have no idea how bad botting is right now. Do you even realize how worthless gear prices have become? Obviously you don’t. I’ve got tons of real evidence and how they’re destroying the market. They make your effort completely worthless.
I know. The "No is letting everyone bot to combat botting and worthless items.
Look in the mirror buddy, you're part of the problem.
