I am frustrated. I hit Schrodiger's quiz and I draw a blank. I have tried all combinations of doing the math and it is always wrong. I have done left to right, right to left, two left and two right and trying to fol ow the PEMDAS rules What is the pattern to do the math in the quiz? Any help apprciated.

    it's Highschool level math man.

    a+(x*y)+b=z
    do what's in the "()" first
    you always do the multiplication first then solve

    are you sure you were following PEDMAS
    Parentheses
    Exponents
    Multiplication and Division
    Addition and Subtraction
    in that exact order

    I literally just open the calculator on my phone and do ## + ## x ## + ## and it gives me the correct answer

    that's probably because you can enter the whole equation into your calc before it does the math where as OP might be using the computer calculator that calculates as you enter it, in which case you need to know the proper order of operations.

    I just tried it and you're right. I've always used my phone calculator for this event so it's never bothered me to check.

    Better yet, run MS in windowed mode and input the equation on Google lol. CBA to unlock my phone for dis crap.
