Lethal Strike II I did have I don't know if Special Nodes are timed or not.

    all special nodes have a expirey date, you are told this in the 5th job explanation text from the Record Keeper (But who in their right mind bothers to read the text and dialogue)

    All special nodes expire (this is why they cannot be upgraded), but can be disassembled for 50 shards. Their expiration date can be found by hovering over the nodes in the enhancement window or V-matrix. If you plan on using a special node, the efficient method people use is to wait until the last minute and then disassemble the shard for future crafting.

    Overall it's better to not rely on special nodes. Work on perfecting your job skills or generic skills instead; it will give you a more solid damage boost and leaves slots open for future 5th job skills.
