anyone use steam's joypad controller software and know if it is safe to use it with maplestory instead of the crummy joypad software that comes in maplestory?

LOL i used live chat for the 1st time and the live chat gm said it's ok to use steam's controller software as long as i don't use macro function and to have fun from the comfort of my couch with no more stupid keyboard. so happy for that.

Does anyone use the steam joypad controller software and know if it is safe to use with Maplestory instead of the crummy joypad software that is in Maplestory? You all can look for https://mobilunity.com/blog/hire-developers-in-austria/ as that can be helpful. I used live chat for the 1st time and live chat gm said that it is good to use steam's software controller as long as I don't use the macro function and to have it from the comfort of my seat with no more stupid keyboard.

I just disable the Steam controller stuff. It doesn't work that well anyway. In fact, I only use the Steam controller mapping as needed. Many games are kinda hit or miss with it anyway.

I just use DS4Windows with my DualShock4 and created a custom mapping for MapleStory using the button settings to map keyboard bindings to each controller button.

Because it's not a macro (which is a script to perform tasks using buttons) it's completely safe to use, plus it's actually part of a driver set.

In fact if you have a DualShock4, DualSense, or Switch Pro Controller, it'll work really well.

Been using the steam controller configuration with my PS4 controller for a while in MapleStory and it works perfectly fine. Characters like Zero require a more complicated setup to have all their attack skills available at once though. Like I had to assign two buttons to one action to use them effectively. (Before anyone comments, that's having to press two buttons on my controller to use a single skill, not the other way around, as that would be a macro, this is just making my controller act like it has more buttons than it does).

As the caption refers to the topic that is being given here and is all about ps4 controller-safe to use steam's joypad software, so we can hope that you will be able to gather all the data on it. It can also be based on BestAssignmentServices for those who see that.

I personally use Anti-Micro, also while 3rd party stuff isn't supported, last I checked it isn't against ToS either. So long as you aren't using macros, you should be fine.

I don't think Nexon has an official stance on either other than "Not supported", they're both allowed if you read ToS since they don't violate any rules.
They would only violate if you use macros as that would violate the "you can't use automation" terms.
The same could be said for keyboards with macros.
