With the revamp of the Phantom Forest and Masteria being released just a few months ago, a new set of items known as the Masteria's Legacy were released along with this update. These items are, at the moment, super costly to enhance with starforce as they require 5 Shadowknight Coins +an additional 5 as you progress per star, and as you may already know, you are only able to obtain so many of these coins per day with the RNG of the field boss' spawning and the randomness of the daily quests that you can receive. It would be better if there were more ways to earn these Shadowknight Coins at a faster rate, say possibly making them drop from elite monsters or some other method because currently it is predicted to take an approximated 4 years with the current daily coin rate to actually starforce a piece of Masteria's Legacy to it's max potential.

    With the revamp of the Phantom Forest and new Masteria Legacy. I really wish that starforcing using the coins to be removed, and just make it same as the how normal item does. The coin starforcing method is making player too exhausting. Rather you increase requiring coins to obtain or buy the item is better. If you make more requiring coin and meso to aquire the masteria legacy and the scrolls than players would want to farm. This method is very similar gollux item farming and players might want to try legacy as it is still little better than gollux. The gollux item set has been in the gms for decades. Setting high barrier of farming coin on masteria legacy makes players not even wanting to try this option. Please remove the starforcing legacy item with coins and make it same as other enhancement on maplestory. Making Masteria legacy different enhancement is not consistent.

    You can get upwards of 50 Shadowknight Coins a week at Gollux (Hard or Hell mode) by purchasing them from the Bison NPC.

    This should make Star Forcing the set much easier now.

    this just eases a bit the star forcing from 4 years in average to like 3 and a half years?, lets be honest, 3 years in average to 22 star just 1 of the 5 items is not normal, there could be a lot of ways to fix this, like making coins tradeable, or even halfing the cost of coins, would make it a little viable.

    the worst part is that this is Code that nexon knows very well since its original content code for US nexon maplestory, and the change could be so easy, they just forgot phantom forest existed for some reason.

    It's a shame they overlook Masteria so much. Qe have very few sets of items out past the 150 mark until 200 with Pitched Boss Set, which is insanely hard to acquire.

    Masteria's Legacy really could have been a good alternative set to acquire, similar to the Alien Fragment set which for some classes, was as good as Reinforced Gollux, or better in some cases, with just the belt, earring, and pendant.

    The problem is GMS really has no effective stance or leadership to counter against the push of KMS and Wonki being a complete pain to deal with, and be it's own distribution of Maplestory like MapleSEA.

    Masteria's Legacy should have been thr Go-To set for GMS and it got nothing but clobbered.
