Download: 8.81GB
Installed: 33.75GB

That is 40GB to be processed altogether, regardless which network it uses to process.
It's just insane, not everyone has the kind of network to support this kind of update every so often.

thats nothing and your not require to have Bell Fibe(3 GB per second)(which mean you could technicly download the patch in a mere 3 second with top quality internet)

you can certainly afford a decent connection....just spend a little less on poisonous smoke generators and head spinning stuff(if you know what i'am talking about)(500$ monthly into those ain't good for ya health anyway)

also just to note..computers from 20 years ago could handle that...what have you been doing during those 20 years ?!?!?!(no offense)

8 GB download is just 8 GB download, the install is reorganizing the files on your computer and is not downloading anything, swaps out the old files for the new files

Some places still have download limits, which will either charge extra or start throttling (sometimes both) after you hit a certain limit. Usually there aren't any other options in these areas either so it's really scummy business practice from these internet companies.

This, the patch is 8 GB, the files that are being patched are 33.75, imagine you download a zip file that is 8GB but then when you unzip it the total size of the files inside are 33.75 GB.
