Numbers gotten so big that they no longer mean anything and making numbers smaller would really help with both the readability of numbers and have players appreciate values a lot more since it becomes comprehensible again.

There are a few ways to do it, but the "fastest and easiest" way would be simply divide values by 1,000.

Player damage divided by 1,000 (minimum value be 1)
Enemy HP divided by 1,000 (minimum value be 1)
Damage cap becomes 700,000,000 (seven hundred million) instead of 700,000,000,000 (seven hundred billion)

Mesos (retroactive) divided by 1,000
Cost for EVERYTHING [cubes, shops, star force, rerolling fee for potentials, etc.] divided by 1,000

This changes nothing except for the number is smaller and easier to comprehend and understand by the player, which in turn the player appreciates the numbers a lot more.

Number compression would just be a visual thing which means not highest priority / very low priority, but something that would improve the gameplay experience with having numbers low enough to be properly comprehended and appreciated by players.

Instead of a boss having 1 quadrillion HP it would have 1 trillion HP

Rather than needlessly confuse players by changing numbers which will eventually just have to be changed again once the numbers get too big, just learn the big numbers. They actually do have value if you spend the time to understand them.
