Very simple feature that would help out a lot, even if you could only do it for Heroic Worlds for whatever reason:
For the Gollux Coin Shop, increase weekly purchase limit for equipment (most notably Superior Equipment, but should be done to all) from one per week to infinite purchases (as long as you got the coins for it)!
This would be so nice to have, especially for Heroic Worlds, where in order to get to high star force we need to accumulate backups which take up inventory space and that is very limited. Meanwhile the coins go inside of the ETC Inventory freeing up the EQUIP Inventory for other items!
Extension of this that is somewhat related:
Introduce more Inventory Bags:
1. 40-Slot Equipment Inventory Bag for Heroic Worlds only. [Max of 1 in use at a time.]
Limit of 1 so that there is still inventory management and so for equipment that can be accessed from USE and ETC Inventories still have value for a strategy for progression, but allow players to be able to collect fun items this way and still progress their character(s).
2. 40-Slot Medal and Android Inventory Bags for All Worlds. [Max of 10 can be in use at a time.]
This is so that players can freely collect these types of items without worry of taking up inventory space for more important equipment that is relevant for character progression.
3. 40-Slot Familiar Card Inventory Bags for All Worlds. [Max of 5 can be in use at a time.]
Familiars cards can accumulate a lot of inventory space in the USE Inventory and this can help keep things nice and tidy. While also giving us more inventory space to collect for fun items with less worry of taking up space for more important USE Inventory items. Players can freely farm for familiar cards while not worrying about constant inventory management.
4. 40-Slot Decoration Inventory Bags for All Worlds. [Max of 150 can be in use at a time.]
I ran out of inventory space here and I don't like putting the items in the Cash Shop inventory and rather have the decoration equipment in my character's inventory instead. This would only be purely financially beneficial for Nexon by letting us purchase more items for our character(s).
~ Decoration Inventory Bags should come in a variety of colours, maybe in shapes too, to allow us to better organize what kinds of decoration equipment is in what bag.
Examples:
Heart, Star, Clover, Purse, and Hammer, etc. are the bag shapes.
Each bag can come in example colours of Red, Pink, Blue, Light Blue, Yellow, Green, White, Black, Brown, and Gray, etc.
All of this would be fantastic to be added to the game and help out a lot!
To clarify: Inventory Bags would be purchased with a mesos in some kind of shop.
Comments
All you do is kick players who wish to play the game a certain way by limiting it to one bag if these were to be added.
There is also no real need for a medal bag or android bag since these are both equipment.
They are separate to each other.
The equipment bag is an extension of regular equipment that you want and need.
The medal and android bag is for collectors and still gives more inventory space in equipment inventory.
Having limitations is not a bad thing, it just depends on how limiting those limitations are. Heroic Worlds just needs more equipment slots, not an infinite amount (or might as well be infinite amount).
Limitations are fine if there is a logical reason for them. There is no logical reason for equipment limitation in reboot.
Why do you want an infinite amount of decoration storage? You already have no issue with inventory space running out.
You can already put those items into the cash shop. You want it because it's a minor annoyance to have to go into the cash shop to get those items.
The equip tab is the same in reboot.
It is a minor annoyance to have to avoid certain quests which give one time reward items or having to redo party quests to pick up anvil items because you don't have enough space to hoard them all.
There is no reason other than to minorly annoy the player to have this limitation.
Even on my characters that I have gone out of my way to keep items that I do not need, I have zero chance of running out of inventory space unless I want to go collect all the androids, party quest equips and stack a bunch of duplicates that I don't even need onto the character.
The only thing you do by limiting it to one bag is nothing for the majority of players, but tease those who actually need the space to play the game the way they want to play.
Frankly, it's an insult to those players to suggest that one bag is enough.
If your one goal is to allow players to play the game the way they want to play without changing the way the game is played, you should fully agree with multiple equipment bags.
it depends on how gameplay important the item is. Decoration equipment has zero impact on gameplay and it is how the game makes money.
Medals being in inventory is intuitive for the player, knowing you can reclaim it somewhere else if you tossed it away is not. And having their own bag means it is not taking up space in the limited bag for all equipment.
One all equipment bag is the safe route with multiple medal and android bags. More than this would need to be heavily considered to see if it is the right move or not for the long term health of the game.
Alternatively, you would only implement a maximum of 150 bags can be used at a time with no need to add medal and android bags, only Heroic Worlds can have this item because too much inventory space would hurt the Interactive Worlds economy.
The problem with this approach is that it cannot be undone if it turns out it only hurts the game long term, so I would rather take the conservative approach and only have 1 all equipment bag with way more than you ever need medal and android bags, go up from there if needed in the future.
that way i have much less to move around and all characters can pitch in after their dailies
40 slots for 5 tab feel too little considering the amount of familiar is out there ,especially since common and rare can't stack
and make them idk....100 millions per 10 slots in each tab ? or wtv price NX is proper
for camo equip that were rewards from quests, they can just add in a system like the medals and store it all there so we can reclaim whenever
while thats not intuitive in your book its more efficient....they can even add a quest similat to "have you learn about potential/bonus stats ?" and that transfer hammer 1
just a quick quest to teach players about it...simple as that..for me the medal button in the keyboard system was a "what does that button do ? i gotta try it"
Android bag wise, just 1 of those with 40 slots should in theory be enough but just in case there collectors, i guess 3 bags ?
OR you could make a collectible tab and be able to set them as "Favorites,Normies, Junk collection"
double click the learned Android in that tab and tada, its now equip over previous 1
by decoration you mean Cash Shop camo clothes ?..who would need 150 bag with 40 slots for those ? i think even 6-7 is more than enough
i know world of warcraft has a wardrobe system to collect EVERYTHING but unlike Maple you dont buy the camos on that game(they're free) and they
dont clog you inventory either
like common..who would spend money to buy half of the entire cash shop ? even whales probably dont do that, let alone that those ain't be permanent usually
bags systems is kin of outdated to be honest, items should have their own personnal window....imma do a quick pic drawing after a CRA carry...will edit this post in due time
EDIT: picture of what i have in mind is now here
I don't think bags bigger than 40 slots is possible.
You would buy bags as you need them, not all at once. 150 cash shop bags is for future proofing where it feels near-limitless so you never need to worry about inventory limitations.
You can already store those items in storage and pull them out on mules and it does nothing to the item. All it does is create another layer of annoyance to the player.
This is a decent point however, if Nexon were to change the way that trading works it could potentially mess up plans for the future of the game. Given that these bags if existed would not have hurt the game over the nearly 20 year history of the game however, I don't think this is of any actual concern.
