Feedback on the new Sia information

I am unfortunately super depressed that Sia isn't getting a standard 6th job, and its no longer going to have support in its kit, I am no longer interested in playing the character beyond Legion and Link Skill, if it even has those things. And I imagine anyone who is interested in playing the class further is now very uncertain, or at the least concerned.

Nexon America has previously gone down this Unique and different 6th job and it ended very poorly, to the point that Jett was deleted, what is there to say that you wont do the same with Sia? Can we get some information on the plans for the class? Can we also get some information on how it will be balanced, since its a completely unique system, in what way are they going to be balanced in particular due to the fact that GMS's Sia is diverging from Maple M's support focused gameplay, Jett was terribly weak/imbalanced most of the time and without proper assurances I don't see why we should invest our time into something that is at high risk to be neglected and abandoned like Jett, or Kanna.

Thanks, and Best Regards, A portion of the Maple Community

Sia has a standard 6th job. This is a separate system, but she still has the main page 6th job with the masteries, origin skills, etc. Sia might not have HEXA Stat and Erda Link replaces that however, but we have to wait and see for more details in-game and/or patch notes.

The support thing is vague, but I want her to have her healing, iframe / damage reduction, etc. for the party and have those brought up significantly.
They could have just been referring to her damage buffs getting axed, but the actual support skills are still here.

With that said, I am sick of the no supports or keep supports weak / bring supports down constantly direction!

Supports are extremely healthy for the long term success of the game both for more diverse players that want to play as supports rather than be selfish damage dealers that want to solo everything and/or just want to do the most damage in a party.
And just make classes more unique from one another rather than only be about what skill visuals you like looking at.

And very good to bring player engagement with increase social and multiplayer activity with party bossing and the like, both in players looks to party with a support and the supports looking to party with other players to make use of their helpful skill utility.

I believe Sia will be fine because if you follow Nexon's shareholder data GMS is doing very well, the increased quality of GMS specific content as well suggests that have a much larger team (hopefully more competent) and aren't just stitching things together with bubblegum and paperclips.
However this is extra balancing that Nexon has to do that is different from KMS so it's just more that they have to keep up with going forward.
Jett was removed because it was buggy and too costly to keep fixing, as long as Sia is built upon a good base it will probably last.
Moving away from support is just the way the game appears to be going, hopefully she retains some utility to keep her interesting as a "support" character.

Jett was deleted because she was coded as an explorer and the non-KMS class with the KMS classes sharing similar code caused problems and constant issues with every update.

Recognize how Beast Tamer (remade to Lynn, same core concept), Kanna, and Hayato never caused issues to the same extent and are still in the game since they are their own class branches.

Sia (and future shine characters) will also be a part of their own class branch, and thus won't cause the same issue that Jett / Zen created.

Plus with Heroic Worlds being drastically different to KMS, they have to constantly properly support GMS going forward anyways which means they need a team for that and that team needs to stay around to support the new exclusive GMS content coming out.
