This has got to be the worst event ever , I just read that it's only a selection of the 2 items and you dont get to claim both . The memento coin amounts are not worth nearly as much as some of the items . While it is clearly labeled that it's one or the other maplestory usually doesnt make you pick which ones you want I dont know why they would start now.

I prefer this, I can ignore items I do not care about for more that I do, it's a good system and I hope they continue to do it for every event moving forward.

Would it be better to just incorportate 2 claim buttons so that you can either or both items? Some items are just junk, but most items are actually usefful such as Mag Pots, Erda, Flames and EXP tickets etc as well as the coin shop. Not a huge fan of how the attendance is laid out and cornering on most days with good items or a heap of coins.

I'm not really a fan of this type of reward system either, like just psychologically its stressful. events should be chill and just give out rewards and not force the player to make these decisions. Usually i'm pretty easy going with how i spend my event coins/rewards and just buy stuff / claim when i want it, because i know how much more i expect to earn for the duration of the event.

this time around i'm just waiting until the end of the event because i genuinely don't know how many coins i will end up with, cause the choices between coin or item sometimes aren't clear cut for me in terms of what's best for me

at least they did the fountain check in thing to earn more coins for free

If you're claiming both how is that any different from other events? On this if you see something you don't want, simply take the coins.
I think they could standardize how many coins you get for each reward, if it were the same across each day and not scaled to match reward it might make it easier to decide if you want the coins or not.

If you want the item, you take the item. I don't see how this is stressful at all.
If I were taking the time to try to calculate how many coins I'll end up with and absolutely maximize purchases I could see how that might be stressful.
I think it's a matter of perspective. I don't particularly care about min/maxing the shop so it's just a good system to me, I ignore stuff I don't want and just grab coins.
I don't really care about getting everything in the shop so I just buy what I want the most first and other stuff later.

Most events I end up with a bunch of useless items I don't care about that just end up expiring or getting placed on characters I don't care about or completely forget I even have.
If more players are stressing out about it and do not like the system then Nexon should just go back to a standardized amount of coins, but personally I think this system is far superior.

Better Solution: Remove all the coins from the calender which you claim it and just make come automatically when you complete Daily Feast Prep (the free 3X coupons and Morning Light and Starlight.)

The coins is defaulted with the 3x coupons and temp stat points and the player is free is claim or ignore the items that come from the calender. Never repeat this event's reward system where some days they ask whether you want 50 coins or sauna ticket on some days and on other days where they ask whether you want a Mag Pot or 500 coins that could be used for other growth and enhancement.

there's a lot of junk cosmetics and i don't want them. I think it's better to get both and be able to dispose of the item you don't want. I think the coins should be given daily as an incentive to complete the event daily and there should be special rewards that we also get nothing too major just the stuff they already have . and if we dont want that item we should get the option to trade it for extra coins for that day.
