Forum Feature: Show in Game Level or Other Stats
I would like to see a feature to that show some stat that player has such as level, legion, achievements done, etc. in game when they are suggesting features. The purpose of this is to show how much the player has played so that players with genuine experience in the game can be acknowledged. Those who have low legions and haven't done anything meaningful will have their suggestions ignored. There are players with a lot of time in game but have a low number of posts so it is hard to tell if they are new to the game or just the forums. This is a better measurement than post counts since it takes ingame experience into account when they voice their opinions as post/comment counts can just mean they are spammy and whiny.
Steam has a feature for reviews that show how long the reviewer has played the game as well as their specs. This sorts out players whining and saying the game sucks when in reality they got bored in 10 minutes versus someone who has thousands of hours. If you are plan on having your game suggestions/opinions being taken seriously by the rest of us, actually playing the game will make you more credible.

We should not turn anything into China.
This has more use than just suggestions as it can be used to vet accounts for anything really.
Reputation for interactive server traders, better boss party finding, just looking for people around the same progression as you.
On top of making it easier to jump in-game and help people with specific issues they posted on the forums.
Integrating game stats into the forums could help bring some more interest to the forums.
As far as ego checking people there aren't too many users on the forums these days who do that since it's pretty dead but there certainly have been some people in the past that I'd love to have seen them back up their claims of "I've got a million hours in this game and am better than you in every way!" type posts.
A little bit of gate keeping to the people who are actually dedicated to the game is a good thing.
Edit March 17th: This could be linked to the achievement system in-game to add custom titles or extra icons to the forums as well, just something for fun to give achievement hunting a little bit of extra fun factor. For example where it says "Member" if you've killed a boss solo you could add "[Difficulty + Boss] Solo Slayer".
I feel it should be mandatory for new posts in the Suggestion and Feedback section to need post the info. Commenting/reacting here or posting in other sections should be fine. If that sounds too restrictive, consider every anonymous poster in this section as trustworthy as a restaurant without a health grade.
This section of the forums should solely be reserved to actual players who dedicated long hours into the game and know the game and not just a kid whining the game is too hard. The people who put the time in to master their characters, bosses mechanics or just deep knowledge on this game should be able to make actual suggestions.
How about we don't turn the forums into China...
If this information is stripped of character names, individual character levels and even legion rank (This can be used to identify certain players at top of ranks) then I don't see a harm in making it an automatic feature. But if the system can be used to identify people at all then it should remain opt-in entirely and people should be allowed to post anywhere they want on the forums without having to opt-in. Let individual players decide if a person is worth listening to or not, which they would do anyway regardless of this system or not.
We're already doing this and the new system would really only add credibility to newer forum users or people who make questionable posts that imply they don't know much about the game.
I respect privacy and the ability to anonymously share ideas and criticism so I'm not a fan of forcing people to dox their account just to attempt to make the game better.
I understand the desire to filter out suggestions/opinions from those who don't really have skin in the game, but I don't think it should come at the cost of privacy.
Nexon could make it similar to steam where you are forced to show your hours in-game but everything else is left optional on how much about yourself you wish to reveal.
For example, if you want to hide your character levels/names but don't mind people seeing your achievements you can set it up so that whatever information you want private/public is available in your user profile.
I personally hide my inventory on steam because I got tired of people asking for free stuff. I wouldn't want random people asking me for carries in-game either.
KIN OF OFF-TOPIC BELLOW
fun fact: PSO2 had a gating system for group play...bad dpsers/and players that would die too much would be lock out from joining good players(by bad dps i meant players doing like 70% or less of the damage output they should be doing).....to test players they made a brutal solo boss fight and a bosses gauntlet.... only players good enough to beat both could use the gate out feature to not have to deal with baddies XD...the single boss fight thing had enough HP to tank you for at least 5 minutes and a fail dodge was instant death(difficulty wise it was around Dark Knell difficulty when he would drop down to 50% or lower but not rng inconsistent like him)....while the gauntlet had 5 bosses with enough HP to tank you between 1-2 minutes each(no bursting cheesing was possible)
basicly
Challenge 1: beat this single boss(enough HP to tank dmg for 5 minutes)..the main difficulty with that 1 is that each skill was capped to deal 15% of his health, afterward the skills would deal 0 dmg to him...his attack pattern was still rough but not as brutal as 2 of the bosses in the 5 bosses gauntlet
Challenge 2: beat these 5 bosses gauntlet(each with enough hp to tank dmg for 1-2 minutes)
neither had a time limit, but it wasn't needed with how difficult it was XD
both challenges you had 1 single life, you die you fail immediatly
technicly a try hard could clutch it if they were willing to do 100-200+ attempts to beat those challenges to not be stuck with the worse players XD(thats pretty much me back on there XD)
it was meant for about 50% players to pass, while other 50% could not(so the players base would stay balanced for grouping)
