[Forum] Can't change name

So I wanted to change my name from what my login ID was so i tried a few character igns and it all said the name cannot be changed at the time. I got frustrated and typed in a bunch of random letters and it worked. However, again, I can't change from this name. While I don't mind being stuck with this dank name I would really like to understand how the name change system works. Let me know and if anyone else has experienced this or has tips leave it below as well.

    2 main things for help in the future:

    1. You can only change your display name to something that isn't already taken. You'll get an error message if you try to change and it's taken. .
    2. You can only change your display name once every 6 months. This is mainly to prevent abuse of the system.

    We can give you a one-time only adjustment, since I assume you want to fix the gibberish, so just PM me your first 3 choices of name change.

    The error message is very unclear. It doesn't say "This name is taken", it says something like "name cannot be changed at this time." Please fix that.
