Game stops loading after region select

The game loads up fine but come time to select my region (NA), I click it, and it just stops. Doesn't exactly crash or force close the game, it just stops. Forever black screen of horror. Same thing happened yesterday, but a relaunch fixed it and I could play. That is not working now.

    i got the same problem click on the region then game crashes then i get this window saying i cant access the game for one of the following reasons
    1 the game world is down for maintenance
    2 that im accessing the game from a banned ip (which im not)
    3 my internet connection is not stable

    If you haven't seen the maintenance has started again is why that's happening.

    "Okay I uninstalled reinstalled like 11 times and still wouldnt let me get pass the channel selection page. The game kept on shutting down and disconnecting. I find out that the server was down again, in maintenance, but i'm not sure if they are going to address the problem where some people couldn't even join the game after the maintenance. I really wish they went into the updated maintenance to fix this issue becuase if they don't, I will be still stuck with not being able to get in the game again. I waited so long for this update to be finished, please get it right"


    maybe that is why but...... I've been trying to get in right after the 1st maintenance was over and when the servers were all green, I still couldn't join. So i really hope this new maintenance solve this issue

    It's happening to everybody. Just sit tight, and I'm sure it'll be back up eventually. Just keep checking back at the updates page.

    That's good to know. I'm glad I'm not the only one. I went through all the usual troubleshooting protocols and started getting really frustrated, even though I know major updates to Maple never run smoothly on the first rollout. I guess some things never change, lol. (I quit back in 2009, or so, and just started playing again, about two weeks ago.)

    Ok so every post I see about this problem (which im having the same) seem to be fixed by just saying "it is on maintenance, but I always check the nexon site to see if actually is since im having this problem for a long time now and i try to enter the game. As soon as I click the NA server the game closes.

    Same here.
    I tried uninstall and reinstall the game several times, but still not working.
    Still can't pass ch seletion page.
    I even tried two different computers and WIFI.

    I contacted the support, they said it's indeed a bug and they are working to fix it

    Aaaand they didn't fix it in the update looks like ill lose the burn and never start playing the game

    I'll explain how I fixed it.

    I went to my files and used the gamelauncher application. I used that to open the game, then when it crashed it also applied an update. After that I tried again and it said it was due to lack of patch data.

    Right afterwords I used the nexon launcher's thing and it let me in. So I believe you just have to go into their files for a couple tries.

    Nope, didnt work for me the not responding still there i dont get this lack of patch data no matter the way i try, steam/nexon/folder .exes

    When I go through gamelauncher i get the message banned till dec/31/2016 6pm or something...... I hope not =(
