Bug type: Skill functionality

Brief bug summary: Arrow Blaster will fail to install the turret, but the cooldown is still applied

More details:
I am a phantom using stolen Arrow Blaster
My NPC chat key used to install the turret is on spacebar
I should add that it fails more often than usual

Steps to reproduce:
Have Arrow Blaster
Attempt to install the turret
Fail
Cooldown will still be applied

Character name: SadVirgin

Character level: 225

Character job: Phantom

World name: Broa

Date and time of the incident: Since the v177 update

    Nexon just want to nerf phantom, it's not a bug at all.

    Do you have any form of confirmation that it's working as intended? It's happening to bowmasters as well so I'm pretty sure it's a bug.

    It happens to me too. I'm a Bowmaster. Most certainly not intended. It's been reported a few times on the subreddit's bug reporting post and in another discussion post.

    Yep still occurs. Although it doesn't seem to fail as frequently for me anymore. Maybe it's a lag thing.

    I main a Bowmaster and as of 12/5 this is still a MAJOR issue for bossing , commerci runs, anything that involves me needing my full power. My char is broken, I hope nexon doesn't take close to year to fix this like many other bm's bugs in the past.
    This is bad. I can't even use my AB that much, it will set for a few secs and quit, or not install at all, the CD happens.
    Nexon you wanted all these combo chars (the LAST thing a damn bm needed) all the cookie cutter same skills for everyone now fix them when you break them.. This is why I loathe combo crap! just one more thing to break.. Just going to have to bump it everyday, until they acknowledge it or fix it. Hope you get it together nexon..

    This issue is still happening and have yet to see anything about fixing it. Marvel machine is bugged...fixed same day. An actual in game issue is bugged and how long do we have to wait for a fix? Last time bowmaster was broke it took over a year.

    Yes, its still not fixed :( ... I'm back to having to use one skill to kill , boss , etc. I need all of my damage. Don't understand why this can't be fixed in a timely manner, some feed back would be nice. My time on the last run at commerci was at 4 mins. which I was ok with, now after you broke my BM its over 5 mins , closer to 6 mins .. thats how much damage I am missing!

    I searched around in some KMS forums and it's apparently bugged like this in KMS as well.

    There's a lot of people clamoring for it to be fixed in KMS.

    Crap, that likely means we won't get it fixed until they do. It's really annoying to try and place platter in gollux only to end up having to clear mobs manually until the CD is up and try again. When gollux works at all, that is.

    it's fixable by yourself. Download the newest microsoft .net version (4.6.2) and install that. Restart maplestory and you're good to go :) (as a bowmaster main I am sure this works hehe)

    Updated the .net framework from 4.6.1 to 4.6.2, but the bug still happens:

    I have the same issue on my Bowmaster. When i try to put down my arrow platter. It removes the old one like intended but fails to put down the new one. After like 3/4 times holding down the arrow platter and hitting the npc button multiple times it finally works. But really annoying in boss fights who has damage reflect not able to remove the arrow platter.

    It has actually gotten worse for me. One time in a regular map I thought the install was successful and it was up for the duration of the cooldown, but then the turret just disappeared.
    I haven't been able to install it properly in so long I just don't use it anymore.
