I chose liver because, besides the V in its name, it's been known and used forever as a food that makes you stronger. And the V patch is all about getting stronger.
Before I lose all the points for "anticipated taste of the food," I'd just like to point out that liver has traditionally considered a delicacy in almost every cuisine. And I'm sure you know that just about anything tastes good if it's breaded and deep-fried. Right? Anyway, don't knock it 'til you've tried it. But if you insist on buying into the "it's good for you but tastes horrible" notion - well, at least it fits perfectly with the patch. It makes us stronger but also is a lot of painful work collecting nodes and arcane force and all that. And I probably deserve extra points for making this while waiting for the unscheduled maintenance to end. Right?

What better way to celebrate a new patch than with a dessert! I made V cookies and green slimes meringue! I also included a beautiful iced cookie depicting our new favorite boss Lucid, and another one with our awesome plushy boos Pink Bean in his favorite Santa suit! And yes, everything is edible!!

For my entry, I focused on the Chew Chew Island feature of the V update. I did a little research and according to the KMS version of the V release, we will be receiving a new party quest named Hungry Muto. Therefore, all of my dishes, but one, will come from the Hungry Muto recipes list. Below are my finished results for the dishes related to Chew Chew Island:
I wanted to show each picture individually so you guys could see where I got most of my ideas from. I tried my best to replicate the dishes, everything else that is extra is just there for garnishment. Finally, the picture below will represent my entry for this contest. Here is how all the dishes look like combined + a mini V-themed cake that I decorated.

Why did I choose this creation?
I picked this creation because it would be fun to make for the V Update. It fits into maplestory since we all eat cake for a celebration for a new event or update.

We have the tradition to eat those in christmas and new years eve, so the date couldn't be more appropriated We call this kinda of dessert "pavê" but I've named it "pa-V" in memory of all the bad puns Maplestory provided to me. http://i.imgur.com/T1H8yYu.jpg I don't think we have a word for translating what is a pavê but It's like a chocolate pie but very smooth and with a little touch from condensed milk and waffers; It's very yummy. For the design, I tried to mimic the V Patch theme and the circle is designed in the colors of each vocation (with a little variation because we don't have a purple M&m's)
This dish is to represent the diversity of the Maplestory and it's extension. A typical dessert from Brazil for this time of the year along with a very creative design. Here's my submission! My favorite part of the V update was the introduction of the new boss, Lucid! As a result, I decided to make Lucid themed cupcakes. The cupcakes themselves are devil's food cake cupcakes and are topped with buttercream frosting (colored blue-green to match the V color scheme) and pink/purple butterflies (seen in Lucid's splash art) made from chocolate! So I had a this amazing idea but it didn't work out so here is what i got Its a chocolate blackberry cheesecake with chocolate sauce on top. I could have used blue food coloring but I'd rather not eat food coloring. When I look at the picture below I'm imagining the V planet surrounded by blue stars.

Thankfully sugar dissolves in water ;D I also crafted some Dark Chocolate Galaxy Cookies! They were carefully dipped in a sugary dyed glaze to create the galactic swirls and then topped with edible star sprinkles. With all the Erda floating around, I figured some Galaxy Star- Shaped cookies would fit in quite well. They're delicious too! ~ ☆ I simply loooove the color pallet given to the V-Update, it was very fun to experiment with all the food coloring in attempts to achieve the perfect colors for everything! (:

What better way to celebrate the V-update than with a typical Dutch winter meal! Sure to warm up everyone during the cold winter days and be ready for the V-update
The meal consist of potatoes, red cabbage that was made to become dark blue to fit with the V-colors, a sausage in the V-shape and an apple sauce forming the number 5 and together forming the V-logo.
