"MapleStory is undergoing maintenance"?

Nexon Launcher won't launch the game for me, claiming the game is undergoing maintenance, even though it's complete. I tried exiting the launcher, I tried logging out and back in, and I tried disconnecting my internet connection and reconnecting a minute later. What gives? What can I do?

    Use GameLauncher.exe (should be somewhere in your Maplestory folder)

    I reinstalled the launcher then tried starting the game, it worked for me or so it seemed.
