This sandwich relates to Maplestory for it requires several monsters in Victoria Island, from towns such as Henesys, Kerning City, Ellinia and much more. This sandwich is very simple but is very symbolic to the Maple Island, and is also a quest!
The quest tells you to collect: - 10 Slime Gels (Avacado, Pepper & Salt) [Slimes are abundant in Ellinia Maps] - 10 Leaf (Lettuce) [Leaves are acquired from killing Dark Stumps in Perion] - 3 Pig's Ribbons (Red Ribbon) [Ribbon Pigs can be found in both Nautilus Harbor or Lith Harbor] - 5 Pig Heads (Ham Slices) [look at above] - 10 Orange Mushroom Caps (Egg) [Orange Mushrooms reside at Henesys]
Completing the quest, you will receive 3 "[V]ictoria Island Sandwiches". They will restore 80% of HP & MP, and raise Attack and Magic Attack by 100 for 3 minutes.
Here's a little ingredient list/brochure I made to go with my entry ^^:
But let's not be too quick here, we forgot about Kerning City! The outskirts of Kerning tend to be infested in Octopus, so what else is more fitting than a group of cooked Octopus as a side dish!
Of course I didn't use real octopus, so I used mini cocktail sausages, boiled them in water to shape them into octopuses, great to eat with your "V"ictoria Island Sandwich.
Man, this took me a third of my day..... Special thanks to my sisters for helping me! I couldn't have made fondant and took these pictures without them! This cake was delicious. Chocolate is yum \^o^/
I made some curry rice, along with a few side dishes for my entry. I messed up pretty bad on the curry so I was contemplating on whether I should enter or not.
Initially I cut each and every potato and carrot pieces into a V shape to relate to this contest, but they all dissolved into little pebbles so that didn't work out. Here's a few pictures:
Those little V shaped things on the side are fried fish tofu, made with Korean spice known as Chungyang Red Pepper Flakes or (고춧가루). Mixed with garlic, onion, soy sauce and corn syrup to make the sauce more thick. Leftover potatoes cut from the curry were added as well. Here's a separate picture of the side dish:
Here is what I call the "Arcane River Pie". All three sections of the plate represent a part of the new area released with the 5th job update. All of them are separated by a "river" in the form of a V. The largest part represents the Vanishing Journey, while the other two represent Chu Chu Island and Lachelien. The last two are as simple as possible, focusing on taste rather than appearance. Here are pictures in daylight;
Working from the bottom up… A thin crust made of almonds and chocolate nibs is covered with caramel flavored pudding. Cookie crumbs sprinkled onto the pudding give the impression of a riverbed. A thin layer of clear gelatin separates the pudding from the plastic wrapped lights, both covered by the river of blueberry flavored jello (it gets everywhere). The left riverbank is made of chocolate chip cookie crumbs, covered with various fresh fruits such as strawberries, grapes, blueberries, bits of mango, and mint leaves for foliage. I wanted to make it as colorful as possible, like Chu Chu island. The other side has a single strawberry rose – roses are part of Lucid’s theme – on top of a thick layer of dark chocolate pudding. It won’t disappoint the palate! Kao (the Amnesiac Temple Keeper) has a head of marzipan (almond paste) with a shade of sweet black sesame paste. His body is sticky white rice striped in blue and yellow food coloring. http://i.imgur.com/TofG2zV.jpg
The big “tree” is the Tree of Memory. The trunk glues together three wafer coco rolls with dark chocolate, covered in white chocolate. The branches are breadsticks, some steamed to curve them. The entire thing is covered with a homemade icing made of cream cheese, sugar and milk. The icing also covers the ground. Mango and mint leaves (behind tree) are meant to look like the flowers found in some maps of the Vanishing Journey. LEDs: The lights in the jello are LEDs. Don’t worry, it’s perfectly safe ;-) The tree has various colored LEDs set inside Christmas ornament plastic bulbs. Tiny earpiece batteries soldered on each leg power the LEDs – the batteries drained quickly this way though, so some pictures only have some LEDs working.
I hope this isn’t too long! If necessary, I’ll be glad to share pictures of the entire process as well as the individual pieces before they were put together. Lots of things here I've never done before. I hope you find this as tasty as I did!
Big thanks to all family members who helped and supported me throughout this endeavor.
Similar to the ChairStory contest, judging for this contest is still going on, and will take a little longer than the random winner giveaways I just announced. Winners soon!

If all turns out well, you can make the sandwich on your own! It'll probably even look better than mine ^^

This is actually my second attempt at this. My first one was a total disaster: (please don't laugh too hard. Jelly was the main ingredient here )

Served with toothpicks for a clean bite.
Lastly, to complete the whole meal, I mixed some Gatorade Powder with water which made a neon blue colored drink to fully enhance the V effect:
