Hello

So I decided to start playing this lovely game again, started a brand new account. I've already made a Kinesis on Reboot. Now I want to make a character on Scania, but can't decide between Blaster or Evan. I plan going one or the other to level 200.

Regards Fahey

P.S - My Kinesis is currently level 31 still working on him, he also has the same name "Fahey".

Blaster sucks, Evan all the way. Totally not biased.

But seriously, personal opinion is that Blaster is pretty fun, right up until about the point at which you realize you've spent the last like 130 or so levels spamming the same exact two skills. Blaster also has no buffs, outside of a weapon booster and Maple Warrior.

I guess, if you prefer having minimal skills to keep track of and almost no buffs to worry about, then go with Blaster. Or if you don't mind having five(Magic Guard when you log in/respawn, Maple Warrior, then three others) buffs and a few skills to keep track of cooldowns on, go Evan.

Or make both and play them both to 4th job(won't be that long, maybe 2-3 days each at max) and then stick with whichever you like the most. That's actually the best way to figure out which one you like or don't like. Because for me, in the course of leveling link mules while maining my Shade, there were far too many cases of "oh oops, I kinda like how this class plays now!" and a good few instances of "ugh this blows, how much longer til I'm done with this?".

I seriously recommend you do that. Make an Evan and a Blaster, get them both to 4th job(or hell, let's call it level 120, just to give you a good amount of 4th job skills made available to you), at some point you'll realize which one you like better.
